Simplifying Construction Schedule Collaboration for PMs & Schedulers.
Worked with a Canada‑based consultancy deploying PMs and Schedulers on major construction projects to design a companion platform for Primavera P6, the industry standard for schedule management.
About
Primavera P6 excels at building schedules, but the consultancy’s job looks different: auditing relationship integrity, surfacing issues, and coordinating findings across teams. P6’s Gantt charts optimise for timeline, not relationships. Its communication module prioritises auditability over discussion. And its filtering model requires naming a filter before setting conditions, leading to messy labels that need to be cleaned up later, especially during schedule exploration.
Designed a platform built for schedule reading, auditing, and team collaboration: a network diagram view replacing Gantt as the primary audit space, a filtering module that lets users set conditions before naming, and a Figma‑like comment system that preserves and restores diagram state per thread.
Role & Process
Led the UX/UI design for the platform from the ground up. Conducted stakeholder interviews, user interviews, workshops and an observation study, and created low‑ and hi‑fi mockups, prototypes, a style guide, a components library for JointJS, and application UI based on PrimeNG.

Collaborated closely with the Product Owner, stakeholders and engineering team.
Impact
Adopted into the consultancy’s day‑to‑day workflows. Actively maintained and developed, with a current focus on compliance features ahead of external client sales.
